PROJECT

twenty thirty nine

This Michigan lake house proves that clean lines and cozy can absolutely be friends. We started with a modern framework—crisp shiplap, matte black windows, and then softened the edges with layers of texture and color. Think velvet, wood grain, and the occasional pop of emerald or indigo. Every space, from the open dining area to the screened porch, feels effortless and inviting—designed for family dinners, late-night fires, and that first quiet cup of coffee with a view.
